some typical applications of weed management
Land owners and tenants have a responsibility to prevent the spread of certain weeds under Ragwort Control Act 2003, The Weeds Act 1959 and The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
Again, we offer a free survey to establish species and determine the level of risk. If the situation requires management, the surveyor, working with a specialist, will advise a strategy of suitable measures.
NBC Bird and Pest Solutions has the in-house resources to assist clients in preventing weeds in all situations of problem weeds from a small area of Knotweed to acres of Ragwort, providing not just a solution but the necessary documents to demonstrate your compliance.
Typical Applications
Problem: A sport’s complex with an indoor and outdoor recreation centre was suffering from a severe outbreak of Japanese Knotweed. This weed is an invasive plant that grows three to four metres deep that threatens the survival of other native plants species and can also cause structural damage.
Solution: NBC Bird and Pest Solutions implemented an annual weed management programme which involved cutting the wild plant back and using various chemical treatments to eradicate the problem successfully.
