Typical Applications
Problem: Waste Recycling Group (WRG) called in the help of NBC Bird and Pest Solutions, when a compost area on Sutton Courtney landfill site was causing an unpleasant odour for the local villages nearby.
Solution: NBC Bird and Pest Solutions, put in place four odour units to neutralize the potent smell. The Odour Units spray out a fine chemical that attaches to particles and eliminates the odour, in the same way that most household air fresheners do.
Problem: NBC Bird and Pest Solutions dust suppression expertise were needed by Viridor at Crayford Landfill, Kent. Viridor were crushing 6,000 tons of glass and needed to control the airborne dust.
Solution: With in two days of the initial call, NBC Bird and Pest Solutions' towed one of their mobile self sufficient odour/ dust units to the site. The dust units use a specialised spray that absorbs the dust particulates and remove them from the atmosphere completely. It is important for companies to do this as the reduction of airborne and fugitive dust improves equipment efficiency whilst contributing to operators' environmental compliance and also protecting local the community.
