Cockroaches are an all year round pest and need controlling as a cockroach infestation is probably the most hated or feared kind of pest problem. Cockroaches are almost guaranteed to send clients or staff running should they be spotted. Therefore leaving them with a negative impression that the premises are unhygienic, which they are bound to tell others resulting in damage to your reputation.

There are two types of common cockroaches, firstly the Oriental Cockroach that tends to prefer cooler temperatures and is common in basements, boiler houses and walkways adjacent to buildings. The Oriental cockroach breeds well in unventilated crawl spaces or basements where humidity is high.

Last, but by no means least the German cockroach, that produces more eggs and has more generations per year (three to four) than any other cockroach, and only a few individuals are needed to develop into troublesome infestations.
