Falconry response for bird control

NB Entrust, a facilities management company approached NBC Bird & Pest Control to provide a bird control service at a new business park in Bootle, Liverpool.

The Atlantic Park, office and industrial business park development is built on the site of the former Rolls Royce turbine factory which has had a history of gull and pigeon problems.

NBC Bird and Pest Control Area Manager Mark Hudson was tasked with keeping the new development bird free and to remove the birds from the undeveloped buildings to allow refurbishment to take place.

NBC Bird and Pest Control carried out a full pest control programme at the site using a variety of methods including bird proofing, a falconry response programme to deter the birds from returning and audible & visual deterrents. NBC are also managing the conservation issues on site.
