Kent Branch through to Final of National Business Awards!

As one of 3,100 entrants NBC Bird & Pest Solutions Kent has won through as a finalist of the prestigious Local Business Accelerators Awards.
 

Chosen from a pool of 60 entrants from the Kent area, Dave Green, who manages the NBC Kent branch will now go on to the final for a chance to be crowned the overall LBA winner and receive mentoring from the campaign’s national ambassador Deborah Meaden, of BBC's Dragons’ Den.
 

Dave Green is no stranger to success having recently won the 2011 Swale Small Business if the Year. Dave Green commented on his recent success 'I am delighted to make the final, it’s a real boost to me and my staff in what have been challenging economic times. We aim provide a service that offers best value, expert and responsible bird and pest control to local businesses and it’s great to gain recognition and be an ambassador for local businesses in Kent.’
 

As well as providing bird and pest control services Dave works actively in the community with schools and businesses providing falconry shows and support to Natural England for the conservation of the Peregrine Falcons (see inset picture) and wildlife habitats.
 

The Local Accelerator Awards is a national initiate that harnesses the power of local news papers which nationally reach 32 million people nationwide who rely on their local paper to provide information on local products and services in their areas.
 

 As well as being supported by Debra Meaden, Prime Minister David Cameron supports the initiative welcoming the boost and support to local businesses nationally.
