Soaring rat populations...
Britain’s rat population is soaring to new record levels. Driven in part by the change to weekly rubbish bin collection, a succession of mild winters and the growth of the fast food culture the rat problem continues to grow. In the past year pest control callouts to deal with rat infestations have increased by nearly 8% from 650,000 to 700,000.
Mice - Did you know...
• Mice can get through a gap of just 6mm
• Mice leave about 80 droppings a day
• If the conditions are right a pair of mice can produce up to 120 young a year
• Mice have weak bladders and will leave urine trails everywhere they go
• It is a myth that mice like cheese!
