NBC Assists the National Grid with Environmental Management

Dave Green the NBC Bird and Pest Solutions Area Manager for North Kent, has introduced 800 carp and planted 700 pond plants made up of 19 different species on behalf of the National Grid site on the Isle of Grain.. The work will regenerate eco-systems, encourage wildlife and minimise the number of mosquitoes that cause problems for staff who work at the National Grid plant.
NBC Bird & Pest Solutions will continue to monitor the progress of the designated area and the wildlife and insect activity to ensure the pond maintains a healthy existence. He will also be providing site and environmental reports to National Grid in order to track progress.
