Private Residence, Bath
The owners of a grand Victorian house were experiencing serious bird problems with pigeons and gulls which had nested around the chimney and were creating a lot of unsanitary bird droppings on the walls and windows. The noise created by the problem birds could be heard throughout the house day and night.
Rob Voisey the Area Manager for NBC Bird and Pest Control Bath was called out to inspect the bird problem. The solution to the pigeon problem was straight forward; the building required bird proofing to deter the birds from the property.
Chimney guards were installed on all fourteen chimney pots to prevent the birds from nesting and to ensure that the property remained bird free additional pigeon spikes were installed on the parapet to deter the birds from standing on the edge of the roof.
Peace now prevails throughout the house.
