Planners were aware that the large air handling unit of the newly built East Building at Bath University, was a potential new home for roosting pigeons and to avoid costly repairs and future problems, they contacted our area manager for bird and pest control in Bath, Rob Voisey, to come up with a bird proofing solution.
After conducting a free site survey, Rob installed a total of ten 5 x 14 metres of bird netting around the ducting and sides of the two storey building. This complex job took two weeks to complete and will save costly repairs in the future by deterring pigeons from roosting on and around the unit.
