Bournemouth International Airport needed NBC's help after stumbling across a hangar that had been left for 15-20 years. Unfortunately this space had not been completely abandoned as rodents, pigeons and insects had made it their home. Toby Welstad, Associate Director of Baqus Denley King, the facilities management company responsible for the airport, said, 'The space was left in disrepair, with pigeon guano a foot thick in some places.’
Tim Lester from NBC was called in for the clean up operation and within four weeks he and his team had cleared two and half tons of debris and guano from the building and had removed all mice, pigeons and brown moths. Tim also had to remove red mite and fleas that were living off the guano and pigeon carcasses.
Toby added, 'NBC did a great job - they were fast, efficient and now our clients can safely use this space again.’
