News - NBC do a MITIE Job at Bird Proofing a School in Kent!
Bird Netting at Hugh Christie Technology College
MITIE, called in the expertise of UK market leader in bird control NBC Bird and Pest Solutions, to carry out a bird proofing job for Hugh Christie Technology College, Tonbridge, Kent. The school of approximately 1100 students aged 11 to 18 were having problems pigeons roostng at the reception and creating an awful mess. The area was covered in so much guano that the Care Taker had to clean the walkway everyday. Dave Green, Area Manager of Medway and Dartford installed a canopy of netting at the entrance that has successfully prevented the pigeons perching on the school.
Facilities Manager of MITIE PFI Ltd, Graham Hobbs commented on the professionalism of NBC Bird and Pest Solutions, and said:
"I was extremely pleased with the service I received from NBC Bird and Pest Solutions at Hugh Christie Technology College. Dave Green and his colleague were extremely friendly and helpful and the work was completed to a high standard. I would definitely use them again in the future."
