Managing Director
John's experience in the bird and pest control industry ideally places him to advise franchisees in many advanced areas of business planning and management, sales and operations. John also aids franchisees in planning and identifying objectives and formulating strategies, and can advise on a range of relevant legal issues.
John Edwards
Technical / Operations Support Manager
John manages the Regional Support Managers who in turn provide advice to franchisees on all aspects of operations. The Support Managers can also help franchisees to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies through which they can achieve the high levels of service NBC expects.
In addition, John manages resources such as labour support, birds and equipment. Franchisees will seek advice from him on all areas of business operations to help them get the job done swiftly and safely without compromising high standards.
Kellie Perry
Key Accounts & Sales Support Manager
In addition to winning and managing key accounts, Kellie offers sales support to franchisees, providing remote assistance regarding any aspect of surveying and selling; reviewing quotes and proposals before submission to clients; offering advice on shortening the sales process and ‘closing the deal’; and, accompanying franchisees on surveys and business development days. Kellie works closely with the Marketing department to ensure continuity of brand within the network, and assists the Compliance Manager in matters of procurement.
Kelly Smith
Marketing Manager
Kelly heads up the Marketing team, working to drive leads into the network and providing support to franchisees in carrying out local marketing to develop business in their territories. Kelly and a team of specialist in-house design, marketing and PR executives carry out marketing activities across a range of media, such as developing the website and all national online activity to help direct business into the company. In addition, the Marketing team initiates and produces all sales support literature, and manages all national and local PR campaigns for franchisees. This ensures the brand is represented accurately and prominently, and its position in the market place is ultimately strengthened.
Carole Stockill
Business Development Manager
Carole manages the Business Development team, providing a bespoke service generating business for franchisees. The team saves the franchisees time and hassle by generating and following up leads and arranging appointments – allowing more time for constructing proposals and carrying out the contracts.
The team also provides a direct mail service, data cleansing and monthly reporting regarding the effectiveness of appointments generated.
Cheryl Bunn
Company Accountant
Cheryl manages the Finance and IT Support teams. The Finance team provides support on accounting processes; creates and dispatches invoices; liaises with clients on finance; and, manages credit control. Cheryl also provides advice on budgeting, P&L and cash flow projections and Inland Revenue and VAT issues.
Alex Burrell
IT Administrator
Alex provides IT support for franchisees in areas such as email systems and the bespoke information management system used by NBC. Alex uses a remote access system to troubleshoot issues that may occur on a franchisee’s computer system in addition to offering over the phone advice on IT queries.
Isla Lawrence
Compliance Manager
Isla manages Health & Safety training and procedures within the company, including risk assessments, MSDS and COSHH, and assists franchisees with compliance in this area. Isla also oversees procurement of national accounts, completing and submitting Approved Supplier applications, and ensures that standards of quality within the company are maintained.
